errgh, alright… This question has landed in my ask box twice recently. I guess I will answer.
errm… Honestly, no. I appreciate it when people click the follow button, but I never feel obligated to follow back. If you follow me, great! Thank you! I appreciate it that you like my posts enough to want to see it in your dash. It means a lot to me especially since about 90% of the content I post is my own.
The thing is, I already follow a LOT of blogs. These are blogs I like, run by people that I do not expect to follow me back unless they want to. Realistically speaking, I really can’t follow everyone back. Otherwise, my dashboard will be cluttered beyond all reason.
So in short, I follow back if I like your blog or know you personally.
