Bus Stop Findings | 16
“Ah, new beginnings”
The government came and put a fresh coat of paint over all the writing on the bus stop. But I also found this.
Bus Stop Findings | 15 Suffer the harvest, to
Bus Stop Findings | 14 “Another minute waiting, another moment gone by…” Why do people at bus stops always make themselves seem so lonely?
Bus Stop Findings | 13 “You’re beautiful.” “Thank you. I know I am.” This made me laugh out loud. Nothing like a little self-confidence, eh?
Bus Stop Findings | 12 It’s epic. It hurts like a blind fit… …And the whole thing:
Bus Stop Findings | 11 I AM At first, I wasn’t sure if this said “I am” or “1 am.” I liked the ambiguity, actually… If it does in fact say, “I AM,” I’m assuming that this person was referring to Sylvia Plath’s quote, “I took a deep breath and listened to the old bray of my heart. I am. I am. I am.”

Equivalent Exchange: one cannot attain something, without first having given something of equal or greater value. FULL METAL ALCHEMIST <3 Actually, whoever wrote this spelled “equivalent” and “attain” wrong, which just amuses me all the more. *(bleh, blurry picture with camera phone, sorry.)
I FEEL (Lyrics from Tom Petty’s “Last Dance with Mary Jane”) For some reason, I really love this one.
timetobeast asked: I really dig your " bus stop findings" keep it up! Thank you! I like your blog too. I will keep it up. There are more photos waiting in my queue as I type. :)
I found some balloons tied to the bus stop. And by the way, don’t worry—these balloons were not put up as tribute to anyone who passed in this spot. They were promotional balloons for the college’s registration period. I am sure of this.

rachellereverie asked: Damn, what bus stops are you at? I took a picture at the one at Beretania/Pali/Alakea and thought of you. aww thanks. You should post the pic! I took those pictures around town/windward side. But I think it could happen anywhere. You’d be surprised… Once one person starts writing, other people will join in and write back because they want to be part of something. That’s why a couple of the ones I took pics of have sayings that are related to each other. They’re all communicating with each other. That’s what amuses me so much. It’s perfect strangers having one big conversation—making personal admissions, sharing thoughts and advice, and talking about their lives with each other. I also find it endlessly fascinating that every individual has a unique handwriting. My favorite one was when three different people wrote: “No one can disappear quite like I can.” I didn’t have a camera with me that day though. By the time I was back at the place, the first line had already faded away. Fitting, I guess.
